MRM Engineering has the expertise and experience to complete the evaluation of electrical networks to ensure the electrical safety and compliance of the installation.

MRM Engineering has completed power studies for electrical distribution systems from 11kV through to 415V distribution systems. We can provide protection settings, load flow analysis, fault level determination, arc flash evaluation and motor starting evaluation.  We have completed studies on draglines, stackers and reclaimers, substations and general 415V/240V distribution systems for our clients using SKM PowerTools^©  evaluation software.

Earth grid integrity is a key element of the protection system. MRM Engineering can complete earthing system designs for substations and electrical distribution systems. The installations are designed and assessed for step and touch potentials, in accordance with Australian Standards using Electrotechnik SafeGrid^© software.

Lightning protection assessments for installations are also be completed to ensure the installation is safe from lightning strikes and to ensure personnel safety. MRM Engineering can completed these studies as an integrated part of an earthing design or as a separate report.
